A view from Moqattam Hills that shows the two mosques. One is called Jame-Al-Lulua. Recently renovated. If you look closely you can see people coming in for Friday afternoon prayers. This view is from Juyushi at Moqattam Hills. Lulua was made as a seclusion and reflection point by Fatemid Imam Hakim Bi-Amrillah. It is said he came here during the knights for prayers and meditation. In the background is anohter mosque ruin built during the Saladin's era. The surrounding area shows the Cairo Graveyard.  Posted by Picasa
